Beautiful vintage blazer by Dolce and Gabbana’s D&G label (see my bio below for more about D&G). The fabric – 58% virgin wool, 28% nylon, 6% other fibers – is brown, and has gold and silver lines running vertically and horizontally over it. The three silver ornate buttons that close the front add to the elegance. There are two front side pockets. Fully lined with a lush golden fabric printed with the Dolce and Gabbana D&G logo. Made in Italy.

The Guardian wrote that the clothing on Dolce & Gabbana’s D&G label “appeared to be aimed at a woman with the taste of a cheerleader and the bank balance of a CEO.” The youthful designs of D&G were in fun contrast to the main Dolce & Gabbana label. In 2012, after their runway show at Milan’s Fashion Week, Domenico and Stefano announced via email that they were ending the D&G line – or “folding it into” the main Dolce & Gabbana label.
