Vanity Fair wrote that John Galliano is “fashion’s most irrepressible showman.” After getting a degree in Fashion Design in 1988, Galliano went to work in London, inspired by things as far-flung as local DJs and the French Revolution. His career really took off in the 90s, first with his own label (he was British Designer of the Year in 1987, 1994, 1995, 1997), then with his work for Givenchy (1995-1996) and Christian Dior (1996-2011).
