Black tux jacket by Paul & Joe. The formality is made snappy by purpley vertical lines. The lapels and pocket trim is satiny, ala tux style. The front closes with a single button, and there are three round buttons on each cuff. There is a lower pocket on each side, plus a breast pocket on the left – all pockets are still stitched. 10″ rear center vent. Made of 55% rayon, 37% wool, 5% silk, 2% spandex, and 1% polymide. Fully lined with a dancer/Paul & Joe logo print. You may wear this when you win your Grammy. Made in France.

Paul & Joe is, surprise, actually Sophie Mechaly (she named the label for her two sons). Born Sophie Albou, in Paris, France in 1967, she worked for Azzedine Alaia in the ’80s, then for her parents’ shirt company, Le Garage, and then, in 1995, she launched Paul & Joe.
